Day 172 - Nehemiah 12 & 13; Acts 4:23-37
With great power the
apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And
God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that
there was no needy person among them. For from time to time those who
owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. (Acts 4:33-35)
Day 173 - Esther 1, 2 & 3; Acts 5:1-16
Crowds gathered also
from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing those who were ill and those
tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed. (Acts 5:16)
Day 174 - Esther 4, 5 & 6; Acts 5:17-42
For
if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews
will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will
perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for
such a time as this? (Esther 4:14)
That night
the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the
record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him. It
was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh,
two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired
to assassinate King Xerxes. (Esther 6:1-2)
But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. ‘Go, stand in the temple courts,’ he said, ‘and tell the people all about this new life.’ (Acts 5:19-20)
Day 175 - Esther 7, 8, 9 & 10; Acts 6
Day 176 - Job 1, 2 & 3; Acts 7:1-19
Day 177 - Job 4, 5 & 6; Acts 7:20-43
I have indeed seen the
oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their groaning and have
come down to set them free. Now come, I will send you back to Egypt. (Acts 7:34)
Day 178 - Job 7, 8 & 9; Acts 7:44-60
