A Father's Love

Today was Father's Day. But, more importantly, M was baptised today. She's very blessed to have such a great dad here on Earth. The hubby is fantastic with both of the girls, but no matter how hard he tries, he will never be perfect. He'll make mistakes, break promises, fail at times. But at the heart of our faith
- the faith that M was welcomed into today - is the fact that we have a perfect, faithful and constant Father in Heaven. God doesn't make mistakes; He will keep every promise; He will never fail us. No matter what happens, no matter what she does, M will always have God the Father. She will always have the opportunity for love and forgiveness through Jesus's death and resurrection. And we hope and pray that she will choose to walk alongside Jesus throughout her life, leaning always on the constant love and faithfulness of her Heavenly Father to whom Jesus always points.

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1 NIV)
