Bible in a Year - Day 59

I have to admit, I'm really struggling with Numbers - it's just so full of lists, and numbers! It's very hard not to just skim it.

Day 53 - Numbers 7; Mark 4:21-41
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. (Mark 4:39)

Day 54 - Numbers 8, 9 & 10; Mark 5:1-20
For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you evil spirit!” (Mark 5:8)

Day 55 - Numbers 11, 12 & 13; Mark 5:21-43
I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone. (Numbers 11:17)

With him I speak face to face,
    clearly and not in riddles;
he sees the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses? (Numbers 12:8)
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (Mark 5:34)
Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” (Mark 5:36)

Day 56 - Numbers 14 & 15; Mark 6:1-32
Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them. (Numbers 14:9)
The Lord replied, “I have forgiven them, as you asked. (Numbers 14:20)
But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it. (Numbers 14:24)
The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you. (Numbers 15:16)

Day 57 - Numbers 16 & 17; Mark 6:33-56
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. (Mark 6:34)
Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” (Mark6:50b)

Day 58 - Numbers 18, 19 & 20; Mark 7:1-13

Day 59 - Numbers 21  & 22; Mark 7:14-37
But God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.” (Numbers 22:12)
